Last week we were pleased to announce the funding of a new project aimed at exploring permanent storage of CO2 in sub-ocean basalts. This project is led by Dr. Kate Moran of UVic / Ocean Networks Canada. (http://www.uvic.ca/news/media/2019+solid-carbon-partnership+media-release)
This week we would like your assistance to help us identify a great candidate for our newly created “Researcher in Residence” position which will support this project. The Researcher in Residence is aimed at attracting a highly qualified researcher to work with the project in an overall management and ‘boundary spanning’ role to ensure we keep focused on the long term goal, avoid getting into silos and help people with great ideas come together to generate even greater ideas.
